Our school is secondary vocational school that prepares students for work in the forestry. The scool permanently looking for possibilities how to improve the quality of education. One of many ways how to do it is participation in educational projects of the EU. Project ERASMUS plus focused on work placement students in the Eu countries is good idea. It can provides better training for students 4-year study program operator forest machines. This way we would like to solve weak spot our school – it is obsolete equipments for transport and skidding wood. After previous good experience with the LEONARDO project to which our students have recieved training placements in Poland and Sweden, we hope that the activity of the ERASMUS plus allows our students in the new enviroment using modern machines and equipments to acquire new professional skills for use in their future careers. The project will take part 12 selected students 3rd, 4th year and 1 teacher. Duration of the internship is 16 days including trave. Internship will be carried out under the supervision of expert guarantor in four thematic units: - collection timber propelled skidders kit - skidding wood using winch rope -thinning wood -cultivator work in the forest Students will be monitoring and controling through diary. Each thematic unit will be focused on compliance training techniques, settings used mechanization, compliance with safety rules, using personal protective equipments. Students will also have plenty of space for leisure activities focused mainly on exploring the Czech countryside. After mutual meetings and telephone calls between the scool and the partner organization was agreed timetable of activities. Future workplaces were also inspected. Prcess evaluation and dissemination of project results will be through ECVET.
