Lehrerausbildung und Schule in den nordischen Ländern - Struktur, Ausbildung und Inklusion
Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jun 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project occupational mobility was developed for teachers on probation and their supervisors in the sector of vocational education in Hanover and Braunschweig. Originator is the seminar for teaching practise located in Braunschweig (Studienseminar Braunschweig). Successful projects were conducted in autumn 2012 and 2013 in Vilar do Torno e Alentem/ Lousada/ Portugal and in Irun-Bilbao/ Spain with 32 teachers on probation. The current project is to be considered as a sequel, based upon the leading Scandinavian model of interconnecting the education of teachers in Europe. Based on long-term considerations a continuously exchange of teachers in European partner countries is the main purpose. Concerning the integration of vocational education in Europe, the teachers on probation and therefore the future teachers are facing major challenges. To be more precise, the introduction of EQF/DQF and ECVET are indicators for expanding European systems of vocational education which need professional execution and handling. Knowledge about these systems, especially during the period of teaching practise, is of vital importance and furthermore implies an advantage concerning duties of integration. The feedback in the seminar for teaching practise is a considerable tool concerning the evaluation of mobility. Hence, all teachers on probation are going to benefit from the experience of their colleagues. Subjects like didactics, sustainability, types of schools, vocational education and specific systems of support in the countries are subject matters. An outstanding subject matter is the inclusion at vocational schools. The teachers on probation will develop specific projects in class comprising preparation, planning and realisation. Lower Saxony and the ministry of culture in Lower Saxony have great interests concerning the experience abroad acquired by their pedagogues.
