Project: Learning to change aims to create learning opportunity abroad for member of core team of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Czech Republic. Eliška Zelendová, programme coordinator will participate in job shadowing in DofE Award in London, which will take place in July 2014. The mobility will last 19 working days, and it main learning outcomes and results will be following: to observe and get to know project management tools and approaches used in hosting organisation, to learn and get inspired by curriculum for youth workers developed by British partner (including preparation for volunteering and expeditions), to share and discuss concerns connected to issue of recognition of Award at universities, to get to know know how in the field of PR and marketing, and to learn through practice specific ICT tools used to support management and learning processes provided by hosting organisation . All those will be discovered through observations, meetings, study visits and consultations. Project results will be on one hand: new skills and knowledge gained by participants, which will contribute to her professional grow, but in the same time new approaches, methodologies, management tools adopted and implemented by sending organisation. Long term result of the project will be better quality of educational progaramme which our organisation offer both to young people and to youth workers. During all duration of the project its participant will be in direct contact with 2 mentors: one from sending organisation who help her to consciously plan this learning opportunity, and after coming back will help with learning reflection and implementation of learning outcomes, second one form hosting organisation, who will take care of participant during the stay, and will be responsible for ongoing evaluation and final evaluation at the spot. Information about project and its results will be shared through our organisations website and facebook. Results of the project will be in particularly shared with our regional partner organisations from: Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. Dissemination product developed within the project will be book let with volunteering opportunities, which will aim to give leaders (youth workers) inspiration and knowledge connected to variety of volunteering opportunities which they could offer for young people. Bookled will be shared among participants of our programme and our partners but as well, with wider public through online tools (website, facebook etc.).
