The EVS projects will take place in Ramallah, Palestine, one over the course of twelve months (one volunteer) and two other projects during six months (two participants for each project). Volunteers will work with a young organisation called Palestine: Sports for Life which specializes in teaching life skills through sports. The project will make it possible for young people from Slovenia to experience life in a foreign environment and become friends with their colleagues in Palestine. The volunteers will work together with staff and volunteers of PS4L to organize activities and workshops in empowering youth and women, teaching them life skills through sports. Learning and using life skills enable them to become leaders of their communities and further transfer their knowledge to people. Volunteers will be actively involved in the work of organization and life in Ramallah. In their work they will have a chance to develop and implement their own ideas which will in turn improve their life competences, expand their horizons and give them a good reference when they look for a job.
