The ‘Learn to share – Training for Trainers’ project aims at strengthening the European Youth Parliament network and the network of project partners towards a training-based organisation, while at the same time offering young volunteers better tools in planning, running and organising training events. 20 new young volunteers will be introduced to training, and trained as trainers, to join the EYP Pool of Trainers and run follow-up training courses within the upcoming year. The training event will be organized on 17-24 August 2014 in Käsmu, Estonia.
The project is organised by MTÜ Tegusad Eesti Noored (TEN), and supported by the international umbrella organisation of EYP, the Schwarzkopf Foundation, and a number of EYP National Committees, who have committed to the project and will send participants to the training. During the 6 day training course in August, the participants learn how to plan, run and evaluate high quality training courses. Personal training style and personal development of both participants and their future trainees are at the core of the course.
The training course composes of several modules that embrace non-formal learning methods and encourage participation. The participants are encouraged to explore their ways of learning and dealing with people with different cultural backgrounds. All the training material is documented carefully and made available to all EYP alumni. The cooperation between EYP and other pan-European organisations is fostered by exchange of good practices in the field of training.
