LE CONTROLE TECHNIQUE AUTOMOBILE EN HONGRIE ET LES DIFFERENCES JURIDIQUES ET TECHNIQUES
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

‘With 1.500 students our secondary school registered to the ‘Lycées des Métiers Charter‘ offers a variety of training schemes: general, technological and vocational. With regard to the vocational training schemes, the automotive department plays a prominent role from level V (City and Guild Examination) up to level III (Advanced Vocational Certificate) in the fields of car maintenance and body repairing. The European dimension has been part of our high school project for quite a long time now. Many various language exchanges are organized and as regards the automotive field, ‘Lycée Louis Davier’ has already been involved to the PETRA training project together with German (Frankfurt), Welsh (Pontypridd), Greek (Thessaloniki) high schools but also to the LEONARDO scheme with Hungarian students (Turkeve). The objectives of the project are as follows: Within the continuous assessment plan institutionalized in France for this course, the aim is to assess a series of skills during the internships carried out by our students in Hungary. The field of professional activities adopted by both parties involved is the MOT. The skills for assessment will be as follows: - To measure and check the mechanical, hydraulical, electrical and pneumatic specifications. - To carry out MOT’s and self assessment of operations. - To install, remove, dismantle and reassemble spare parts on various systems. - To conform a vehicle with the regulations. 10 high school students and 2 teachers will stay in a selection of Hungarian garages for a four-week work placement. The headmaster in charge of the plan, the coordinating head of department and teachers will provide information to students and their families. They will also supervise the trip to Hungary and the stay of the trainees. The expected results are closely linked to the personal development of those taking part in the project thanks to cultural opportunities. Professionally speaking, the comparison between know-hows should allow students and professors to position themselves in their own field of activity.’
