Le cheval et la gestion d’entreprises hippiques dans son contexte culturel et géographique
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Mobility undertaken as part of this project built around the horse and management of horse farm, allowed students to improve their knowledge of technical management on one hand and steering the horse business to another share, while experiencing a different territorial context by going to practice the theoretical and practical in a country of the European Union which is Ireland, with the strong horse culture that characterizes this country. This project enabled our entire CGEH class (28 students in first grade) to leav three weeks in Ireland by half group. These young people needed to discover the trades of the horse in Europe to consolidate their career plans. Our Irish network of professionals is our advantage to ensure the quality of our courses. With over 20 years experience of professional mobility in Ireland, we have built a strong network with family horse farms. These structures have enabled our students to discover the trades linked to the world of horses, work with quality horses and with professionals who understand their needs. Two of these structures have been recognized as intermediary to promote the work they provide to our MFR in the organization of our mobility project. The management of our project team in the MFR, and the privileged position of the coordinator that links between our team and Irish partners has allowed us to fully inform, prepare and support our students. We ensured regular and systematic monitoring of our project meeting once a month to to review the progress of the preparation of students, and coordination with partners. Our project is in an employment context where young people have to adapt to change, career development and mobility necessary to meet the needs of our region and other European regions in the field of horse.
