Our project called «  the wood material for a long lasting construction of Europe «  is in line with one of our studies section «  the wood construction » . Most of our students belong to the lower middle class and some of them are from the underpriviledged class . Therefore, this project represents a chance for them to go up on the social ladder . Moreover, if we wish to see the young generation belonging to a european nation , it 's important that teachers altogether , linguists or not , agree to share their practises and knowledge among the european union. The partners we found are in Finland and Croatia . Both of the organisations with which we are partners have a wood working section . During the partnership we aim at getting more qualified in ourrespective professional practices by learning new methods of teaching and by learning a new culture . The students will get in touch people their age and it represents a great opportunity for them to get to know people they would have never been the chance to meet . In terms of evaluation, these periods of work experience are part of their training course . We intend to exchange with the mentors during their internship so as to follow the students progresses . We'll use the Europass of course . Our project is mostly based on a mutual technical and knowledge exchanges . The students are going to use machine tools and they must respect safety rules . We need to make sure that they understand all the different safety rules properly as well as the regulations in effect in the welcoming structure . They will stay 3 weeks . Concerning the staying of teachers, they will stay 10 days . Their mission will consist on sharing educational tools and ressources ,discovering new methods of working as well as discovering new techniques. Those exchanges will take on the form of different phases such as the watching of educational courses , watching the students at work, elaborating mutual actions . More generally speaking, those exchanges will allow our structure to turn to european countries and encourage our students, personal staff and the whole team of teachers to open themselves to the notion of mobility . Through the dissemination of the results of those exchanges among the community of both teachers and students, the partnerships will be mutualy fulfillling at different levels . At the level territories, it is obvious that these partnerhips will have an economical impact on a long term basis since it will improve the professional qualifications of the young people. It will also contribute to strenghten their professional values . In the end ,it will help them to be more competitive in many regards ( linguistic, cultural, indidual and professional fields ) . This project represents a unique experience , having no paralell with any other kind of experience. The whole community of teachers and students will be get the opportunity to become real actors of the construction of Europe, a project which is based on a multicultural vision and on the transfert of training and knowledge .
