The training center “LatInSoft” has been working in the sphere of adult education since 1993. The training center has been successful on the market for adult education and it is one of the leading training institutions in Latgale, which specializes in providing its customers with a wide range of courses for professional development and formal or informal training courses.More than 7600 people have done their training courses at the training center “LatInSoft”. Almost half of the students did various language courses (English, German, French, Latvian). Since 2004 the training center “LatInSoft” has been implementing the programs of teaching Russian as a foreign language “Learn Russian in the European Union”, in which since 2004 to 2013 were about 150 students, but at 2014 have arrived 145 people, at 2015 – 240 people, and in the next years the number will increase.Recently, the programs for language development are becoming more and more popular in the sphere of adult education. These language programs have to meet Latvian as well as European requirements for this type of programs. For easier and more effective communication with foreign students it is necessary to improve some competences – first, Eglish language skills development for staff, who work with foreign students and their representatives during pre-study and study period; second, it is international communication and behavior skills development for staff, who receive foreign students, teachers and agents during their visits; third, it is necessary to receive professional skills of staff management in education institution; fourth, as far as “Learn Russian in the European Union” project provides full system of learning activities with tourism, history, culture and language immersion, it is necessary continuously present and support this complex in clear, positive and objective way; fifth, training center’s “LatInSoft” staff need international experience, examples of good practices in other European education institutions. The project “Learn Russian in the EU” is attracting more and more customers from abroad, so it is important to enhance and develop managerial and organizational skills and professional competences of the staff while running adult education projects.It is planned to have lead staff of the training center “LatInSoft” to have involved in the project – training programs coordinators, methodologists and teachers, who generally cooperate interrelated to each other and also with all the students and their agents.Within the framework of the project, it is envisaged to acquire seven training programs: “Fluency and English Language Development for Educators”, “Soft Skills for Education Providers”, “Human Resource Management in Education Institutions”, “Experimental Florence: Experiential Travel For Education Creative Tourism And Wellbeing”, “Diversity in Education: Developing Intercultural and Communication Skills” and “Structured Study Visit to Schools/Institutes & Training Seminar” – in Spain and in Island, and two of these programs will be adapted exactly for our team and needs.Training courses are mainly focused on acquiring practical skills and knowledge using interactive communicative approach and experience exchange among participants from various countries.As a result, training center “LatInSoft” will receive a wealth of experience and knowledge for the future work and development. Coordinators and teachers of different training programs will considerably extend list, quantity and quality of programs. The training center can guarantee its customers from Latgale regions as well as from the EU and other countries to receive high quality and modern service in the sphere of language education. Providing high-level education services will raise the attraction of education institution and of region in general.
