At our vocational school for child care teaches an English teacher without Fakultas who has become acquainted with the subject. Meanwhile, he has begun to study English, but in comparison to his fellow students' language he lacks in speaking practice . His work is divided into English classes , classes for automotive technicians and study. Our school aims to improve the quality of English teaching . This includes an experienced English teacher. We also want to open up more internationally . Therefore we need a teachers who have experience abroad themselves. Only then we are able to inspire our students . LEdCultT should be the basis for further projects. In those oncoming projects students should be involved above all. LEdCultT stands for Language -Education -Culture - Technology and this is exactly how this project is to put together. Language This project mainly aims to improve the language proficiency of the English teacher of our school. During a two-week work placement in the UK , he will participate without German-speaking company at the local work life. The accommodation will be in a host family, so that in addition to business English, everyday English can also be experienced. Education The British education system is quite different from the German system . By working in an exemplary educational institution , the teacher gets to know the British system exactly and can also act as ambassador of the dual system. Culture The professional manners differ basically from the German. Organizational structures and do's and don'ts are extremely important for international relations in the professional field. He will experience this very close. Living with a host family will complement the experience of British culture in the private field. Technology Since he is also a teacher for automotive technicians, this is a successful addition to the first three parts of the project and creates extra value for one for him as a teacher and therefore also for all his students. The English teacher will participate in the Mercedes Benz Training Academy to the local teaching for two weeks. He will exchange ideas with local teachers intensively on methodological , didactic and technical subject matters and has the opportunity to develop inguistically , professionally and personally. The acquired knowledge will be applied to the lessons after returning of the teacher . An Individual feedback from students will be conducted at the end of the project in the classes and will be included in the final report. The results will be documented in reports and published on the appropriate web pages of the ISB .
