The Gare à Coulisses is based in the Drome in France, between Lyon and Marseille in the countryside. The Transe Express company has been working for street art developments for 33 years while the Gare à Coulisses aims at following other company in creation time. These two organisations are reknowed for their work by professional as well as by institutions. The Volunteer (one place) will be hosted form May 2015 to May 2016. By working with their teams, the volunteer will learn about show organisation, production, distribution, management and technics. Three directions will be follow by the volunteer with the Gare à Coulisses team on a full time work basis. Artistic residencies : welcome and follow the companies in residency : hosting, preparing meals, technical installations, administration. Shows : selection of shows and their practical organisation and communication on the Gare a Coulisses actions and shows. Development : development and visibility issues and creation of new partnerships.
