The "Alto PALANCIA" adult education centre covers a rural region in Castellón, Valencian Community, in two different areas, Alto Palancia and Alto Mijares. We are 16 teachers and at least 25 more who collaborate with us partial time.This course we have enrolled more than 1000 adult learners and at the end of the course we will have about 500 more.Our state learning centre belongs to the network of the Valencian Government and local Councils.This project is an initiative which will allow teachers and adults to learn together to make the whole of the education community aware of European citizenship.The aspects we include in our project are:• Organization of state adult education schools in Europe.• Adults and young people to whom the educational system has failed. We foster their motivation and involvement in learning processes as European citizens and workers. • Transformational power of language learning and methods of teaching and foreign language learning in rural areas. • Participation in future Erasmus+K2 projects. • The value of teachers' learning processes as a model and their effects in adult learners.The impact and implication of this project in the context of a rural area will allow us to spread experience and results to people and to motivate other adults by starting new learning processes. This is the first involvement in European projects for our regional education centre in order to research different topics, make contacts and develop new projects in the eTwinning space and the Erasmus+ K2 as short and long term aims/goals.
