The project was organised and carried out in the framework of an Erasmus + programme "International mobility of school education staff", co-financed by the European Union in the framework of the European Social Fund, Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development. Three English language teachers from PG1 in Siedlce attended a methodological training course entitled "Methodology Revisited, Revitalised & Re-energised" organised by Executive Training Institute (ETI Malta) in St. Julian's in Malta. Those three teachers participated in the project because, first of all, they initiated that project, they were willing to improve their skills and competences. Moreover, they willingly shared their knowledge with other teachers after coming back from the course as well as they established contacts with teachers from other European countries. The project aimed to acquire additional skills, qualifications and professional experiences in teaching a foreign language, improve the quality of teaching, expand the European dimension of our school. The participants prepared themselves by reading all the documents sent by the receiving organization , they prepared a presentation about the sending organization and the educational system in Poland. They took part in a methodological course entitled "Methodology Revisited, Revitalised and Re-energised" . After the mobility the participants organised a special training for other interested in it teachers. During that meeting they showed a presentation about the teaching methods and techniques they learnt on the course. They also created a data base useful in learning and teaching a language, presented new teaching techniques on a special lesson open to all teachers, organised extra classes for students - drama class, classroom newsletter in English, classes for talented students, classes for students with special needs or for those who want to prepare more for the final exams, organised language workshop on Malta for students, published the information about the project and its results on the receiving organization Internet site ( http://www.pg1siedlce.info) as well as on local information portals. The participants acquired and expanded their methodological knowledge, updated their teaching and ICT techniques and improved their practical language skills . Moreover, they developed their sense of initiative, increased social and intercultural awareness by experiencing history, culture and customs of bilingual Malta. The participants established contacts with teachers from different countries, they teach more effectively by using activating and motivating methods and forms - e.g extra classes for students, what contributes to the improvement of the quality of teaching. The long term results of the project will be establishing a future project cooperation in which many more teachers will participate, what will expand the European dimension of the school .
