Project Finnland: 12 students at vocational school from the hotel and restaurants field as well as from the area of Housekeeping are sent in 2 flows to Finnland. One Flow in spring 2015, the other Flow in spring 2016. They are selected according to given criteria. For preparation they visit an English course and visit an intercultural seminar with main focus on Finland. In the beginning they go to the Varia Vocational college of Vantaa and attain status as a student. The elected students work in Vocational Training 5 days a week on the job. They are completely integrated into the daily work routine of their company. The practical activities are similar to the professional training in their German companies. The students improve their language competence and their mobility, their flexibility , their ability in dealing with strangers as well as they extend their practical competence. Besides the students get in touch with foreign culture and customs and so they increase their tolerance . The experience of working in a foreign country and getting over the obstacles will raise their self-esteem and they get strengthened. The students receive an europass mobility. 6 teachers who work in the HOGA and housekeeping field (Technical teachers and scientific teacher) visit in 3 flows the Varia college in Vantaa. They establish contact with the training period companies and with the staff in Varia college and trained to put the project on a broader base. They receive insight information about the Finnish Vocational System and step into a professional discussion with the Finnish colleagues. B. Erasmus project France In autumn 2014 a group of teachers and other persons who are responsible for the vocational education in the agricultural sector of the school Edith-Stein-Schule of Freiburg/Germany were sent to France in the region Rhône-Alpes. The group of participants consisted of nine teachers of the agricultural department, the principal of the Edith-Stein-Schule as well as the chairman of the “Verband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau e.V. Suedbaden” (a regional association of landscaping and construction of sports fields) and a representative of the school district of Freiburg who is responsible for the vocational training in horticulture and landscaping (in charge of training agreements and final exams) also took part in this program. Taking part in this program was obligatory for teachers who are teaching horticulture, landscaping, farming and viticulture. The two representatives of the so called “Duale Ausbildung” were nominated for additional multiplying of the information concerning this exchange program for interested instructors and interns. Taking part in this exchange, the school principal also got deep knowledge in this Erasmus program and the planned permanent partnership with our project partner CFA (Centre de Formations d’Apprentis Agricole), the center of the vocational school district of the Rhône-Alpes region with headquarter in Dardilly/ France. The French partners were leading the week of advanced training according to the agreement of the German partners involved in this project. During the week of further education several agricultural vocational schools and horticulture, landscaping, farming and winery companies were visited. During these visits first contacts between cooperating businesses promoting greater mobility among interns, instructors and agricultural teachers were established. The participants of this exchange program got to know on site the special characteristics of the partner organization CFA Régionale. Because of this the participants could already encourage interested interns in mobility and giving them information about an internship in France. In the following project (2015-1-DE02-KA102-001950) mobility for 16 interns of the sections landscaping and viticulture was applied for. In the first flow 8 landscaping and horticulture interns were already sent to France for an internship with participating businesses. At the moment the second flow with viticulture interns is taking place. During the week of further education a contract of partnership of both organizations was sealed in form of a certificate. This contract of partnership was developed together and signed from all partners in May 2015.
