Modern teaching has been the most important aim of our Primary School for decades. We truly believe that basic preparation from the youngest years will both lead to equality of educational chances of our students and their peers from better developed countries (especially those from the European Union) and will allow students' balanced development. We expect an optimal development of skills not only from our students, but also from our teaching staff and administrative workers. That is the reason why we would like to improve our staff's qualifications thanks to Action 1 in Erasmus+ programme. Our long-term objective is to use the skills acquired in said programme in taking part in projects (eTwinning platform) and Action 2 (Erasmus+).Aims of the project:1) developing skills related to staff's work specification (teaching, training);2) gaining better work quality and therefore improving student's skills;3) developing of understanding and sensitivity of social, linguistic and cultural variety;4) giving the opportunity for professional development and career;5) improving and learning foreign languages;6) motivation enhancement and gaining satisfaction from daily work;Participants in the project and main activities in Action 1:1) three English teachers - attending methodology courses2) nine teachers (Maths, history, Polish, after-school club, and 5 childhood education teachers) - attending foreign language coursesTypes of actions and methodology used in the project:1) analysis of individual needs of participants and defining them in the 'Chart of improvement'; also monitoring of said chart during the courses; 2) use of participants' knowledge and skills of observation to lay down the 'Chart of Recommendations' for our school in order to achieve the long-term goals;3) plan for implementation of educational, methodological, and other recommendations, which will help us attain the objectives of our European Development Plan.Expected results and influence of the project: 1) improvement of methodological qualifications of three English teachers;2) foreign language improvement for all participants of the project, which will allow them to work on projects from eTwinning platform and prepare them to take part in Action 2 of Erasmus+ programme;3) implementing of new teaching methods with the use of new tools;4) improvement of syllabus.Potential long-term benefits:1) quality upgrade of our educational offer2) quality improvement of internation cooperation;3) promoting the attitude of open-mindedness, respect, tolerance and support for others;4) enhancement of our school's European dimension.
