The project aims to stimulate mutual tolerance and raise awareness about other cultures, to develop mutual understanding for people with different cultures and to reduce prejudice. Through creative activities such as dance, outdoor activities, IT workshops or other things that interest youngsters, we would like the volunteers to work with social inclusion and stimulate debate about youth democracy and how young people can influence society. This project also aims to increase informal learning and contribute to growing skills and experiences to make the volunteers more equipped for the future. This is a long term project which will involve 2 volunteers: Teresa from Germany and Stefano from Italy. The volunteers will also promote the Erasmus + program, and motivate young people to participate in international projects to promote young people’s citizenship and European awareness. By allowing people to meet, we would like to create a place where new ideas can grow, and where new things can be learned. We think that new meetings can contribute to a positive attitude towards new cultures, people, and ideas, which can lead to a desire to discover other countries and ways to learn, this project is a part of that idea.
