PROJECT
FINISHED
The two main goals of the mobility were to increase the professional and key competences of the participants as well as increase the international profile of BC Naklo, mostly through establishing links with vocational schools and companies abroad. Through the mobility, we developed our students' and teachers' business skills, and adopted innovative practices from various organisations abroad (vocational schools, companies and universities). Furthermore, we linked our vocational education and training courses with partner institutions abroad, developed and strengthened our relationships with our partners and made plans for further cooperation.
The general objectives and expected results of the project primarily included the dissemination of know-how and good practices in the selected areas of professional expertise, becoming familiar with new forms of practical (skill development) courses of study, developing professional and personal competences, enhancing personal growth, gaining experience with project work, improving professional knowledge and skills, raising linguistic competences, networking for long-term cooperation (partnership) and increasing the transnational and European dimension.
In the application form, we planned 46 mobilities on biotechnology (i.e. nature conservation, horticulture, a biotechnical gymnasium, agriculture and food) as follows:
- Mobility of 30 students – 6 VET students in enterprises and 24 VET students in vocational schools
- 11 professionals – we planned 5 mobilities for teacher training at our partner schools, 5 mobilities for teacher escorts and 6 mobilities for the training of professional staff at enterprises.
The main objective, which was to carry out 46 mobilities was exceeded by 9 additional mobilities, meaning that 55 mobilities were carried out in total :
- 38 VET students in enterprises and vocational schools (8 extra mobilities)
- 17 staff mobility – training abroad and education/teaching abroad (1 extra mobility).

The mobility project allowed the students to gain valuable knowledge of their chosen profession, and helped the teachers acquire new knowledge and skills, which they have passed on to their students, other school employees and, as mentors, to workers. The teachers have included this experience and these new skills into the educational process itself. This has increased our promotional activities and raised the standard of our educational programmes. All the learners acquired comparable European knowledge, competencies, skills and experience in their fields of expertise in other European educational institutions and enterprises. By sharing this knowledge, professional experience and skills acquired and, implementing all of this knowledge in the professional work of the participants, it has become easier to solve professional challenges through innovative approaches. We continue to develop our transnational cooperation and promote the European dimension through our mobility projects. We have now gained 6 new partners, and together we have designed a project within the framework of the Interreg programmes.
