FINISHED
We are aware of the fact that being representatives of the adults’ world in the young students realm, we take also the responsibility for conveying them values and rules of behaviour in a society. Thus our initiative to join the project called „Young human charter of values”. It is meant to be the expression of our conviction of the ethical and moral role of a social and professional role of a teacher. We hope for exchanging experiences, observations, teaching methods during mutual talks, discussions, workshops and trainings. We also hope for getting in touch and continuing further cooperation with our partner schools from France and Spain. Our partners will watch and observe our work with young students and familiarize with our achievements. They will see what we focus on and what values we want to pass down to the students in order to enable their better managing in the contemporary world.Main aims of the project called “Young human charter of values” are:- creating a universal charter of values for a young European citizen. The charter should be their guidance for the future. Their future live, education and possible working in the open Europe will be the areas to implement these values.- establishing of longer relations with partner schools from France and Spain, sharing good practices on teaching methods.- broadening our teaching resources with new tools and methods, improving our school’s educational serviceincreasing teachers’, pedagogues’ and tutor’s competences in many aspects of our development and opening for international communication- increasing teachers’ and students’ linguistic competences which should open new directions of challenges and joining other transnational projects- important influence on the local community for which the school is the only place to meet, talk, observe, support and convey moral and human values among our students. Because of its location at the outskirts of the city, the school has a tremendous influence on the local community.- multigenerationality is our asset which we can use in the project and show the partner schools what we have achieved so far- organising meetings, getting to know partner schools which come from different parts of Europe and represent various cultures, and also sharing good pedagogical practises. In the project, apart from our primary school called Stefan Zeromski Szkola Podstawowa nr 46 located in Czestochowa, Kawodrza Dolna district; two more school will take part: Marie Soboul School from French Nimes, and a Spanish school CEIP Carmen Conde from Leganes in the outskirts of Madrid. Our school puts great emphasis on conveying to young people the values which are connected with local and national patriotism. Our students develop artistic skills with focus on art, music. We teach them how to rest actively. The French school focuses its activities on the methods of teaching to children such values as courage, curiosity, respect, goodwill, human and ethical values, laicity. They are interested in activities which develop and support these values. The Spanish school loves to organise activities for the whole school in order to improve relationships between students. They have a program during breaks and lunch time to foster outdoor and indoor activities. They choose an annual topic they develop through the year, this year it is music. Main activities will be divided into two month periods with “Young human values days” which will focus on a particular chosen value. In the first year of our project it will be: responsibility for ourselves and others, fairness, charity, altruism and philanthropy. The following year – friendship, dignity, preparations for hosting partner school, a language course; a partner school visit, “Open Day at School”, school’s presentation, lessons and after lesson activities presentations; evaluation of a partner’s visit, conclusions and observations analysis and comments, evaluation.
