"Knowledge Without Boundaries" is a Job shadowing project between the organization O.A.ZA. from Croatia and Lotus Trust from the UK. The aim is to enable two youth workers from the UK to spend 18 days in Zagreb, participating in the daily tasks and activities of the organization O.A.ZA. The reason why is to strengthen the partnership of these two organizations; to exchange good practices; to increase the capacity of organizations to operate at EU/international level, to introduce European certificates in youth work and so on. We want to improve the quality of youth work in our organizations and get better acquainted with the opportunities that Erasmus+ offers. We also want to improve the qualifications of our youth workers and provide them with new informal and non - formal learning opportunities. Some of the methods for achieving that will be: daily participation in the forming and realization of different projects, such as Green Jobs, Yoga for students, Urban gardens, etc; presentations of Erasmus+ and visiting the National Agency; visiting the island Krk and learning about the project "Kids and wind"; writing project proposals and contacting potential donors; visiting the Croatian Employment Office and learning about the "Job Club" project and many other activities that fall under regular activities of an NGO. After their job shadowing, the participants will improve their individual key competences, increase their motivation and satisfaction in their daily work, improve their communication skills, linguistic skills and sense of initiative. The project will have long term benefits for both of the organizations, because they will gain valuable skills, contacts and partnerships. As for the participants, they will improve their professional competences, which will reflect on the quality of their work with youth.
