PROJECT
FINISHED
By the Erasmus+ program we wanted to send 13 successful, indepentend with good language knowledge for a 3 week vocational training in the end of 2015.
The traveling board was chosen from the following professions:
- 7 vendor
- 4 mechanical metalworker
- 2 main mason
The participants were chosen from the 10th and 11th grade.
First for our hosting partner we chose AusTraning who are specialised for programs like ours. We couldn’t reach other partners in Wien so we asked AusTraining to help us find other partners and they were really helpful. They found very good workplaces and thanks to that they participated in the workflow easily and they practices german language.
The mobility had a positive effect on the students both culturally and in their language knowledge.
Our goal through this project was:
We would like to have a more colorful vocational training for our students expecially in abroad, which highly developing their self-determination and problem solving skills. Also our school can be more attractive for future students.
What our students developed by this programme?
Making connections in a different language, responsibility, personal competencies, reliability, self-sufficiency.
Vocational knowledge: knowledge of wares and other important knowledges, working culture of an other country.
For our students it is especially important to show the european dimension so they are not only in Hungary but internationally can extend their possiblities. These professions are popular internationally too. For this goal we need the students to be motivated to participate in mobilities like Erasmus+.
These projects are helping our school in the enrollment of new students which is a common national interest because these professions are skill shortages.
