This training course is part of our organization’s plan for continuous improvement and development. From the very beginning of our organization till today, we have realized that each learner is important to us, therefore we strongly believe that disadvantage groups should not be discriminated, but should be even more involved so they can use every single chance for their personal development and success. We, the team of PETKA believe that we are able to help disadvantaged groups in the process of acquiring new skills, competencies, knowledge and experience. The training staff need to increase the capacity to cooperate and communicate on international level in the field of social inclusion for disadvantaged groups, while making contacts and sharing knowledge and experience with participants from other EU countries. This training course will help trainers to learn new methods and techniques, which will bring benefit for our organization, as kind of added value to the program and organization in general. In general, the objectives of this training project involve developing and improving trainers’ key competences for working with disadvantaged groups, promotion of inclusive education and training policies, offering personal development opportunities for disadvantaged learners, encouraging initiatives for local and international projects which will facilitate the process of social inclusion of disadvantaged groups, identifying challenges, approaches and methodologies for overcoming discrimination, exclusion and disadvantage in education, explore examples of good EU/world practices and experiences in the field of educational inclusion of disadvantaged groups and their implementation for further equal opportunities, perspectives and intercultural understanding. There will be four participants from PETKA. One of the participants is president and founder of PETKA - Skopje. Her main responsibilities are developing annual program, EU projects, collaborating with organizations, companies and institutions. During their work, they have shown great commitment and responsibility for improving the training process in our organization. As two of the four trainers in this application have never attend multinational training abroad, this experience is more than needed. The methodological approach implicates: team – building; group discussions; activities of research about EU policy for recognition and validation of competences; assessment of the "entry" competences and creation of individual learning pathway for the learners; problem – solving activities; debates; questioning; goal – setting; decision – making; action – based strategies; brainstorming; star bursting; planning an structuring; negotiation and persuasion; ice – breakers, self – motivation sessions; tests. The most important outcome is that attending international learning events opens new perspectives and opportunities not only for the participants, but even more for their future learners. The main impact on participants: developed and improved key skills and competences for working with disadvantage groups, enhanced ability to overcome discrimination, exclusion and disadvantage in non-formal education, adopted new approaches for the training process, increased efficiency and clear communication with disadvantaged learners, triggered inspiration and motivation for new project proposals for disadvantaged groups, improved intercultural awareness.Impact on the participating organization: developed trainers with high quality key competences for working with disadvantage groups, implemented diversity in the training process, implementation of trainers’ competencies in the organization's strategic development plan, made contacts and established partner relations with participants from other EU countries for future cooperation.Impact on the target groups:1. Colleagues: raised awareness about social inclusion of disadvantaged groups, improved and developed key competences as a result of the dissemination training activities, increased motivation for projects that support disadvantaged groups.2. Learners: provided opportunities for their personal and professional development in training atmosphere without discrimination, exclusion and disadvantage, motivated for European mobility.3.
