Onerva is one of the six units of national Valteri Centre for Learning and Consulting. Onerva provides services to support inclusion in municipalities and education at Valteri School Onerva. Onerva works multiprofessionally and possesses special expertise in hearing and vision, autism spectrum disorders and language and communication. Co-operation with various professionals and networks is needed when building up the support for individual pupil’s needs. The objective of this Erasmus+ KA1 – mobility project is the deepening of our professional knowledge in education and rehabilitation of pupils with special educational needs. This project also enables international action and co-operation for Onerva staff as well as learning new skills especially in ICT and supporting inclusive education. Job shadowing enables to improve the quality and services of our support services. We will visit inclusive learning environments and resource centres supporting them. According to our philosophy we will participate in job shadowing in pairs or in teams. The staff members participating will include management as well as staff working in teaching and rehabilitation. Altogether ten people will visit centres in three different countries. The objective in participating in training events is to multiprofessionally develop various ways of using ICT for the special needs of pupils. The main goal is to improve pupil’s participation and accessibility. Altogether eight staff members will participate into four different training events. The mobilities of this project will provide new knowledge and skills to our staff and thus support pupils’ skills and accessibility and also help developing our organizational structure. These mobilities also create international co-operation and networks. As longitudinal impact the development of national support services for inclusion will take place.
