Condorcet Elementary School located in Jacou is a large educational establishment counting 434 pupils, 17 classes and 21 teachers.The school is involved since 2011 in European projects (Comenius 2 projects and 1 Erasmus+ KA1).In the present project titled « Keep on learning ! », 10 participants aim to :- improve their English skills (to teach and communicate with European partners)- learn about new teaching methods- master the use and creation of audiovisual resources- improve their pedagogical creativity- pursue the internationalization of the institutionTo match with these objectives were chosen :- 6 English and practical methodology courses- 2 teaching through video making courses- 2 interactive teaching courses, using educational games and new technology in order to enhance learners motivation This new project "Keep on Learning" complements and further training for teachers looking to improve their professional quality. One should be prepared to the issues included in the new 2015 programs which will be distilled in the next school project 2016. It is also to support the KA2 school partnership project under development.These teachers will be the school's resources and they will share the knowledge acquired during the courses.It is expected an improving language performance of pupils, their motivation, their pleasure in learning and a concrete reinvestment in future exchanges with other European learners (inter-class correspondence, writing articles on the blog ENT school, using eTwinning, ...).In the longer term, in the context of the internationalization of the school and beyond the purely educational aspects, improving language and numerical skills of the participants should have the effect induced to sustain the communication network which is being built between our school and the other European schools.
