YOUNG :: POLITICS 2.0 allows policy-makers to get in direct touch with young people (and vice versa). The project can be divided into three phases: :: PREPARATION PHASE (Autumn / Winter 2014/2015 ) :: 30 participants aged 16-18 years work within the framework of two weekend camps on politically relevant topics and issues and prepare a structured dialogue with Austrian decision-makers. They are supported by peers who have already participated in a similar project and can share their experiences. In the course of consultations they actively involve their environment in the discussion of youth-related issues and concerns. :: DIALOGUE PHASE ( Spring / Summer 2015) :: It comes to structured discussions between young people and decision makers who the young people themselves have chosen to discuss with. The dialogue aims to effectively influence political decisions. After the dialogue rounds, the results are documented, evaluated and disseminated. :: ASSESSMENT PHASE (Fall 2015) :: In this phase, the results of the dialogue rounds are summarized and the experiences of the participants are reflected in a final event. Participating organizations and individuals conduct a final evaluation that deals with learning of all relevant stakeholders. The participants have an active role in the implementation of the project in all project phases.
