The project GIMMIE SHELTER aims to foster a common strategy for handling issues of vulnerable social groups. The project has great significance for improving social cohesion, enhancing the attractiveness of the cross border area and improving the economic and social characteristics. The need for the implementation of this project came from the increasing incidents of children trafficking and illegal activities by the organized criminal networks that act on both sides. Expected Results: The expected results of the project are: 1. Active and organized response to incidents of abandonment of children in the region. 2. Improvement of social structures and services. 3. Strengthening of the cross border cooperation. 4. Effective dissemination of results through integrated action plan. 5. Specialized training programs targeting players and volunteers to the local population. 6. Employment of staff to work on the structures created by the program. 7. Implementation of significant events to raise the awareness in the cross border region.
