Overall Objectives are to contribute:- Promoting the modernisation of higher education;- Enhancing the quality and relevance of higher education;- Building up the capacity of higher education institutions, for mutual understanding between peoples and cultures, for international cooperation and for a permanent modernisation process, assisting them in opening themselves up to society and to the labour market, overcoming the fragmentation, enhancing inter-disciplinarity and trans-disciplinarity, as well as the employability of graduates, fostering the reciprocal development of human resources;- Enhancing network among higher education and research institutions among beneficiary Partner Countries and EU Countries.Specific Purpose is to establish and start up a self-sustainable MSc course in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Technologies, satisfying EU quality requirements, in 5 universities of Southern Mediterranean (3 in Egypt, 2 in Palestine).Main outcomes will be:1) A detailed knowledge of beneficiary Universities needs and of market needs, acquired; 2) N° 5 MSc accredited at beneficiary Universities of Egypt and Palestine; 3) Training materials prepared and technical facilities (video-conference tools, didactic laboratories) purchased and installed; 4) N° 100 students trained in the 5 MSc established; 5) Sustainability perspectives explored and verified; 7) Quality assurance procedures defined and applied by beneficiary Universities; 8) A project accomplished in a transparent and effective way.The project will pursue its purposes through implementing the following activities:WP1. Analysis of beneficiary Universities' needs;WP2. Didactic planning and MSc accreditation;WP3. Elaboration of training materials;WP4. MSc delivery;WP5. Communication and dissemination;WP6. Results exploitation and sustainability;WP7. Quality assurance and service evaluation;WP8. Management of the Action.
