This project aims at developing a modern cross-border training program in neuroscience at the Universities of Debrecen and of Oradea, that will later lead to a MSc program in the field. General objective is to establish a joint cross-border interdisciplinary training and education program in neuroscience.The main activities are: Development of the collaborative training program in neurosciences (defining in detail the curricula, including the lectures and practical training; elaborating student recruitment criteria and evaluation standards, selection of the students participating in the training program; developing lab facilities for students training and e-learning platform, defining the topics and schedule of the workshop and of the summer school) and implementation of the collaborative training program in neuroscience (documentation, elaboration and teaching of lectures on various neuroscience topics; organization of hands-on laboratory demonstrations / initiation in research practice in neuroscience afferent to the lectures, organization of a workshop in neuroscience; evaluation of the students performance in the program; organization of a summer school in neuroscience).The target group is formed by 20 students (10 on each side of the border).Among the project results: 1 summer school in neuroscience, 1 worskshop in neuroscience, 1 curriculum elaborated, providing a broad introduction to neuroscience domains from molecular to systemic level and to cutting-edge techniques used in neuroscience
