PROJECT
FINISHED
Job ready is a youth exchange realised under the Erasmus + program which includes 24 young participants from Romania, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria. The idea to organise the project is based on the growing need for youth to enter the job market well- prepared and possessing the necessary information, skills and knowledge to increase their chances for success. The economic crises and rising unemployment rate require that young people act pro-actively to be competitive on the job market. This project targets young people between 18 and 24 years old who are in the process of looking for a job or who are about to join the workforce.
The main goal of the project is to provide young people with basic knowledge and skills to enable them to be more competitive on the job market as well as to stimulate them to be actively looking for information about the desired job and planning their career.
During the 9 days of the project participants will be involved in various activities: training sessions with human resources specialists, discussions, role- plays, simulations, intercultural experiences and exchange of ideas and good practices. By combining formal, non-formal and informal education we aim to effectively affect all participants in the project so that the knowledge and skills are easily internalised and effectively put into practice in the future. During the project the participants will have the opportunity to experience the cultures and traditions of other countries, to communicate, work and have fun together with young people from different countries , moving together towards the same common goal.
Expected results are: young people building self- confidence and developing adequate idea of their skills and competences. Through active participation in different activities young people will be motivated to develop their creativity, initiative, communication skills, presentation and public speaking skills, team work and learning analysis, effective use of information etc.
As an ultimate result we expect participants to gain the confidence to enter the job market without fear and to aim towards their dream career, building up on the accumulated knowledge and skills.
