The globalization process and the growing mobility of Europeans, especially the young ones, the rapid developement of new technologies, the international projects have contributed to revolutionary changes in the attitudes towards foreign language learning. In multicultural societies of the united Europe, there is a constant need of lifelong learning and using different foreign languages. It is a key driving force for social and professional success in our modern times. It can open up new horizons. Among other languages, English seems to have a leading role as the language most willinglly used in conducting the international projects, learning and teaching other subjects through foreign languages.
The main objective of the planned project is quality developement and internationalisation of the institution. It aims at improving language competences, new teaching methods and tools especially wider incorporation of Content and Language Intergrated Learning. Ten mobilities have been planned. The participants of the project are highly motivated teachers who represent varied subject areas namely English, German Polish, Science, Maths, ICT, Art and PE. The planned activities focus on improvement in the cultural context, CLIL methodology and TIK skills.
These activities will result in developement of linguistic and organisational skills as well as intercultural awerness with respect to own community values. Thus, this will enhance international cooperation and improve learners' engagement in support of students' motivation.
