The project initiative, which is developed in 3 countries (Italy, France, Senegal), aims to promote the processes of active participation of young people in society and the activation of intercultural dynamics by encouraging cooperation, networking and exchange of good practices between youth associations. The purpose of the project is to improve the capacity of internationalization of youth associations, and strengthen the skills, knowledge, methods and techniques of cultural and socio- educational entertainment; develop and experiment with innovative methods of youth animation on the themes of EXPO 2015; promote intercultural awareness through the exchange of experiences; encourage the participation of young people.The initiative is developed in urban and peri-urban territories involved, where the phenomena of marginalization, insecurity and youth unemployment are widespread.In such contexts, youth organizations can play a particularly important role to facilitate the processes of participation and active citizenship of young people into society. Youth associations, as bearers of the instances, the needs and the fragility of the youth condition, and at the same time an active subject of the territory, can correctly interpret the expectations of the young, compare and linking them to the institutional and local civil society.In this logic, the project aims to: - Activate processes that improve the ability of innovation, effective management and internationalization of youth associations;- Focus and take action on the leader of youth to strengthen their leadership, develop skills, confidence in themselves and in their own potential, both in terms of relationships, of intercultural exchange, both in terms of technical skills, as methods of socio-educational animation.The cooperation and international solidarity, the concepts of development, the common goods and sustainability, the food and agriculture, the active and global citizenship will be the main topics of discussion, debate and exchange of experiences between partners and young participants.Expo 2015 “Feeding the Planet, Energy for life in Italy in Rho (MI)”, can be an opportunity for young people and youth associations, often carriers of innovation in terms of cultural change, to start a more open reflection on these issues.Therefore the purpose of the action is to encourage young people to have an overview of the problems, with an international outlook projected for international solidarity active, global citizenship and the shares of common values (also from the founding values of the European Union accordance with art. 2 of the Treaty). concretely it will operate highlighting good practices developed in different areas on the themes of EXPO and to identify the tools and content for the creation of a public awareness campaign aimed at young people's own territory.
