The project's partners (Les petits Débrouillards PACA - France, Cooperativa Controvento - Italy, the Med-Action Association - Algeria and the Association Marocaine des Petits Débrouillards - Morocco) have done many cooperation projects in the Mediterranean about transition's and climate's issues. Some of the young Mediterranean participants have decided in June 2015 to set up a group to work on these issues independently of the NGOs. The group, named JIEC (Youth Initiative for Climate and Commitment) has the goals to communicate about transitions issues and engagement with others young in many country of the Mediterranean Sea. The current project is a tool to train and support these young people in their work, allowing them to go further in their empowerment. The project has three mains goals * Mobilize a delegation of young Mediterranean around the theme of climate change* To accompany this group of young people in participating in the COY12 and the COP22 on 3 to 13 November in Marrakech* Continue the mobilization en valuing the work produced and relaying the approach in each country.In overall, 30 young people will participate to the international meeting which will be held from 3 to 13 November 2016 in Marrakech, during the COP22. During the meeting, the partners planned to permit the young people to have training time on the contents of the transition; to have exchanges about practise; to give missions of reporting to every young; to organised some vidéo-conferences from Marrakech to they countries... Following this meeting, the young people accompanied by the structures will have as mission to set up a dissemination action in their countries.
