Bulgarian Memory Foundation in cooperation with the Association of citizens "Macedonian-Bulgarian friendship", Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and "Bulgarian Municipality in Gagauzia", Republic of Moldova, represents the following youth exchange project on the topic: " Creating an entrepreneurial culture among the youth" on Key Activity 1 "Educational mobility of citizens" of the "Erasmus +" Programme, financed by the EU.The project is based on the one of the main Europe 2020’ objectives - increasing the levels of employment in Europe, as well as on 2/8 areas of action in the EU Youth Strategy - "Employment" and "Creativity and Entrepreneurship".The project "Creating an entrepreneurial culture among the youth " sets two main goals, which is foreseen to be achieved through informal learning methods:• helping the young people in acquiring entrepreneurial skills from two points of view: in terms of starting their own business or of development of entrepreneurial attitudes in existing companies/organizations.• guiding the young participants in their career orientation by еxamining the entrepreneurship from the view point of business, NGOs and education, which are key components of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, developed by Babson College.The inspiration for own entrepreneurial ideas and mindset will be stimulated though simulation games, interactive methods of informal learning, as well as through discussions with successful entrepreneurs.The project aims to respond to the following needs and challenges: *guiding young people in their careers orientation; *encouraging them to develop their own business ideas and entrepreneurial spirit; *stimulating a motivation for Start Ups; *building confidence in their own abilities; *presenting good examples of successful entrepreneurs in various fields of business, non-governmental sector and education; *conducting more discussions on entrepreneurial success stories; *development of creative thinking and skills for better communication and socialization.The project target group will be 60 young people, aged 17-24 from: Republic of Bulgaria (EU member-state) – 20 participants; Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) - EU candidate country -20 participants and Republic of Moldova - country, that signed the Association Agreement within the framework of the EU Neighbourhood Policy – 20 participants. The young people from Republic of Bulgaria will be from the Southwestern and Northeastern poor regions of the country, falling into so-called category of "disadvantaged" in terms of: * socio - economic aspects such as income, employment, education, and also: * socio - cultural aspects such as religion, ethnicity and culture.The project foressees the following five main activities: 1) Project event preparation, 2) Five-day youth exchange (14-18.11.2016) in Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria; 3) Promotion of the project results; 4) Analysis of the results achieved and the possibilities for their sustainability and multiplication; 5) Preparing the final report of the project. The following methods: Discussion methods, active, interactive and situational methods of informal learning, as well as methods developing 3/8 of Youthpass' competences will be implemented during the project.The project results and the impact on the participants will be based on the realization of the following goals:• to encourage the formation of an entrepreneurial culture among young people;• to improve the degree of professional and educational orientation, awareness and motivation for StartUp business or entrepreneurial attitudes in existing organizations, through meetings with successful entrepreneurs in various fields of business, NGOs and education sectors;• to stimulate the initativeness among the young people and to recognize options to for self-employment as an opportunity for the labor market;• to encourage young people to realize their creative and innovative ideas;• to find ways of dealing with difficulties and challenges associated with entrepreneurship;• to develop 3/8 competencies within Youthpass - social and civic competences, skills of initiative and entrepreneurship, cultural awareness and expression.The expected project benefits are related to: *the improvement of young people perspective for employment by encouraging entrepreneurial thinking and mindset; *the development of skills for personal development of the participants like innovative and critical thinking, decision-making competencies, communication in a multicultural environment, leadership; *acquirement of soft skills such as presentation skills, participation in discussions, argumentation, teamwork and time management, needed for the better realization on the labor market.
