Experimenting with new forms of training delivery to accommodate different learning styles, the project will design, evaluate and introduce CD-Rom or web-based training tools for those working in middle management in business services, IT or tourism sector SME's. In particular, innovative 3D software will be generated, able to consider learner specifics such as age, gender, ethnic group & disability, and to further support these groups through the provision of a 3D virtual mentor. Four interactive CD-ROMs and web-based training tools will be produced by the project in all partner languages, aimed at women, ethnic minorities, young people and persons with disabilities. Speech modules in all partner languages will be further added for persons with visual impairment. Questionnaires and focus groups will be used by the project during the evaluation phase. A final report will be produced and made available via the project website. Dissemination aims to raise awareness amongst SME's, equality target groups and local and national equality support agencies through press releases, attendance at local events and mail shots. Promoting use of the new products will also involve relevant decision makers in vocational training. Copies of the final report will to be sent to relevant organisations across Europe. Project partners plan to introduce the developed tools into existing programmes and to continue to work together to promote these tools, with commercialisation being considered to support ongoing activity.
