The goal of the project is to develop teachers IT skills in promoting interactive and modern education environment, that would heighten students motivation for learning process. For now VPKĢ teachers understand that they should more integrate new technologies in teaching/learning process but they miss experience and practical skills how to do it. IT tools in lessons are not implemented enough effective except computer lessons. The goal of the project will be met by two main project activities - training course "Interactive Media for “Interactive” Teaching and Learning” in lifelong learning centre "Bios" in Cyprus and job shadowing in Secondary school of electronics and computing Maribor in Slovenia. In the main project activities will participate 2 teachers of VPKĢ. The first criteria for participants selection was motivation to develop IT skills in order to implement IT tools in teaching/learning process. The second criteria was at least B1 level of english language in order to qualitative participating in project activities. It is expected that through practical work with IT tools teachers will gain positive personal experience in using IT, that will help reduce insecurity and resistent attitude towards IT tools implementation in school work. In the result of the project teachers will have developed IT skills, heightened understanding and knowledge about the importance of IT implementation in school work in order to make teaching/learning process more creative and modern and students more motivated. In general, all the results previous mentioned have potential to long term benefit. The results of the project will bring positive impact on modern and interactive school environment in VPKĢ.
