PROJECT
FINISHED
We ended up with 60 students using our Erasmus + grant, in addition we have had 30 students gone through the Erasmus + of Da Vinci College in Rotterdam. All students have to fill in the document "leeropbrengsten" part 1 and indicate what their learning goals are. Afterwards they have to complete the 2nd part of this document and identifies learning objectives and competencies gained or developed, this gives a good insight into the learning outcomes of placements.
This is our fourth project LdV and Erasmus + and it remains difficult to estimate the exact number of students as we working together with 32 ROC’s in the Netherlands. After consultation we decided to let 30 students go away by the grant of the Da Vinci College, this cooperation was very pleasant and we are very happy with the solution offered by the agency and the Da Vinci College. We have all placement student issued with several newsletters to maximally prepare them for their internship, so the chances of success are greatly increased. Expectations and planning have been realized as it was written down in our application. We have 14 'permanent' ski schools in Austria, where we continued to work with, this have increased the quality of the placements. We are visiting all placements least once a year to ensure the quality and possibly to make changes. The ski schools we are working with were very benevolent, the collaboration will definitely continue and expand in the next years. In addition we have a multi-year collaboration with Robinson, STAR3, Wintour, Mercure, Auberge La Douce Montagne and Eurocamp and all these will be continued, developed and they all proved to be a reliable partner in our project.
All internships are accredited by the national accreditation companies (Kenwerk, Calibris, Aequor, GOC and/or Ecabo now SBB). The internships have given the students several specific objectives as part of the guidelines of his school tasks, in addition to the professional development of the internship abroad it is also a great contribution to the personal development of the student. In addition to these pre-aggregated outcomes, the student develops during the BPV to a young adult with a broad vision and there is international trade, and acquired relevant competencies. The student has made a huge personal development during his internship, he has become more independent, has broadened its horizons and Europe has become its field instead of the Netherlands. The language proficiency of the student is substantially increased, the language of the internship he has learned to speak and a number of students with a flair for languages, even speaks the language of the host country fluently. The student has become familiar with different cultures / customs and values, where he now can fit in and where he learned from. The student came back after completing his placement as a young adult and has a different / broader view of the world. It is now an European dimension in which the student works, he has learned to function in another country in an international team and in a different culture.
