There is a detected financial gap in early stage financing and also a low level utilization of quality innovative projects in Hungary and Slovenia. To overcome these problems the participating transferee partners, INNOSTART National Business and Innovation Centre and Technology Park Ljubljana, have launched a number of initiatives and actions to facilitate enterprises to get access to early stage finances. However, during the realization and/or operation of these initiatives it became evident that innovative projects are very often not investment ready: they are not able to attract investors since their business model, business plan, market survey have generally low quality, not meeting the expectations of investors and also project owners are not able to present their ideas in an appropriate way. Therefore training and coaching is needed to prepare them to be investment ready. Currently no customised, interactive training programmes are available for would-be-entrepreneurs and start up companies. The IRT project has been developed with the aim to fill this gap thus improving the utilization of innovative ideas and the development opportunities of innovative companies, start-ups, future enterprises.
