The INTRA TOOLS project will design and introduce a flexible model for ICT Education & Training (along with a series of relevant support tools) for use by individual learners.The target groups will be those in transition to work (in particular disadvantaged groups) in addition to vocational counsellors, trainers, and those responsible for individual training programmes.The focus will be on the development of professional competence at an individual level and thus the model will allow application within both formal (education, structured training, apprenticeship) and non-formal (workplace) learning environments.In addition to the development of individual training modules for use with the target group further guidelines will be published for trainers, tutors & vocational counsellors (with regard to the individualised training plans) and for designers & managers of training programmes (with a particular view to individual training).In addition, a series of electronic tools & materials will be introduced to include; an electronic skills analysis tool, a selection tool for selection of individual training modules and a variety of the actual training modules will also feature on-line.Dissemination will take the form of a dedicated web site comprising the results of the project (IT, EN) and a range of additional printed materials (IT, EN).
