In Turkey and such developing EU countries, a great deal of the textile education foundations lack laboratories those are properly equipped with test devices. All levels of textile education foundations live such difficulties and problems that they can not efficiently train their students in a practical manner so that the students will fully have the qualifications to put theoretical knowledge into practice. One actual sample of such problems is the testing and measuring of textile materials. Such issues may cause conflicts between countries and trade companies, economical losses, break of unity of educational opportunities, damages the integration of developing countries into EU, reducing the attractiveness and competitiveness of European textile sector.The main objective of the project is to produce learning tools which will resolve the above mentioned problems. The knowledge and expertise of the European partners will be transferred, as a sample of transferring and sharing information between developing and developed countries. The e-learning platform and interactive multimedia learning tool will help students, teachers, technical staff, craftsmen and even individuals to help self-development of their own.
