InterNatureNet - respect nature, humans, yourself
Start date: May 2, 2016, End date: Nov 1, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

In the center of the international youth exchange "InterNatureNet - Respect nature, humans, yourself" in Eichstaett from 16th-24th July 2016 is a sustainable, conscious and mindful lifestyle and dealing with natural, human and his own resources. The 26 young participants from Portugal, France and Germany deal for nine days with the respect for nature, society and themselves using non-formal and informal learning methods, reflect their own lifestyle and develop concrete steps that everyone can implement in his everyday life to live more sustainably and more aware. This should already be actively implemented during the project by the participants through independent and responsible shopping, cooking and living together. The participation of refugees helps to reflect sustainability also in terms of integration. Integration will furthermore be actively lived by the participants. Goals are the learning of intercultural competences and the creation of an awareness of solidarity and transnational responsibility within the context of sustainability and the refugee issue, and the promotion of intercultural and interreligious exchange and, consequently, prevention against xenophobia. The participants record their solutions to resource problems in form of video tutorials and make the responsible use of nature, society and themselves accessible to a broad population. In the longer term, the participants should learn to reflect their own lifestyle and to change it if necessary. In addition, sustainable approaches and practices are to be transported in the youth work.
