The HBLA Elmberg is a five-year vocational college for agriculture and educates students in the branches nutritional management and business management. Due to curricular changes, vocational subjects will partly be taught using English as a working language in the future.
Two teacher colleagues representing the two branches agreed to attend this vocational training in order to refresh and improve their current language skills and to obtain methodical-didactical ideas for the implementation of the new curricular requirements.
Currently the school maintains regular contact with various foreign countries in the scope of the practical training of the students. In the future more international contacts with similar organisations should be established.
We expect an increase in value for the education in order to prepare students appropriately for the European labour market.
Quality assurance should be maintained through a QIBB survey in March 2016 (QIBB = Quality in vocational education).
