The project aims at producing a new breed of engineers and scientists who can work with physicians and surgeons todevelop innovative medical practice. This curriculum will take students with a solid theoretical background inmathematics, computer science and engineering, and master them in information technology in medicine. This includesthe fields of modeling and simulation methods for surgery, medical image analysis and medical robotics,. The studentswill work in a multicultural-multidisciplinary environment provided by a consortium of educational institutions closelycooperating with medical centers that have a unique experience and network of resources.
