INTERGENERATIONAL ACTIVITY IN THE RURAL AREA

It was a group project for a period of seven months from October to May which has involved a German girl, Anne Maria Weymann and a young Danish Josefine Geisier. It is entitled "INTERGENERATIONAL ACTIVITY IN THE RURAL AREA" because it encompasses many aspects regarding daily life in a village with the various sectors of the population: children, youth, adults, seniors. The Town Hall wants that all residents from Frómista and district has services and quality of life, hence, carried out training programs, cultural, leisure, sports, etc. to throughout the year. The presence of European volunteers working in the City is a very important point. The volunteers have collaborated personally in the House of Culture, performing library activities, entertainment, educational, cultural, informational, etc. and in the Tourism Office, the last two months, serving pilgrims, tourists and visitors. Together they have collaborated in the Old's people home, also they spent time sharing the tradition and festivities such a Christmas, Easter, Quintos, S. Telmillo, S.Telmo... that it have taken place during their stay. In addition, once we know their skills and abilities they have developed a personal program based on bringing their culture, cuisine and language to all inhabitants. Not forgetting the promotion and dissemination of experience and Erasmus + program through social networks: facebook, twitter, blog volunteering and radio.
