Interface II is a Youth in Action EVS project of mutual sending and hosting between Italy and Portugal and Cambodia, coordinated and promoted by bbjshare.it at both sides with 6 other promoter NGOs in Europe and Cambodia respectively. It aims at acquisition of non-formal experience in cultural diversity, cultural integration and mutual understanding by the volunteers. Activity 1: 4 Cambodian promoters sending in total 12 volunteers to 4 Italian Host organisations for 6 months of volunteer service (11/2010 to VIII/2010) Activity 2- 3 ltalian(sited in Spoleto .Palermo and Vicenza) and one Portuguese promoters (sited in leira) sending in total 12 volunteers to 4 Cambodian NGOs (all sited in Phnom Penh) for 6 months (VIII/2010 to 11/2011). Both activities follow the three phases scheme: recruitment, selection and preparation of volunteer groups; implementation of the EVS in the hosting countries and mentoring; final evaluation of the activity and final evaluation report.Building up on Interface one, the project uses innovative methods and tools from intercultural work with youngsters, such as the Anfibias approach, working on intercultural attitudes and conventional socia standards and stereotyped ways of thinking. It promotes comfortable, empathetic interaction with people from diverse backgrounds. Volunteering in communities from social support to human rights and justice the volunteers produce films, foto documents, the web-bloq www.bbishare.wordDress.com and oraanise public encounters in their host communities.
