Our rural setting still offers countless opportunities for the implementation of projects to social and economic level , linked transversely by preserving the natural environment. The Youth Exchange : Active Youth for Sustainable Rural Development is an exchange of 9 -day run 30 youth from three European countries such as Greece , Portugal and Spain who live or have concerns in the field of rural development. The active and playful methodology enable us by participating in the design , implementation and analysis of the results of each of the activities. To know the mainstreaming of the elements of the rural, educational visits we will be producing organic products we design and we will make a campaign to publicize the tourism resources of the area, and we know the concerns of the citizens first person to detect and prepare proposals for sustainable rural development. The expected results are to equip participants with the knowledge of the factors affecting rural development such as agricultural production, product processing , the concerns of the society living in rural , communicating their values and the natural environment. The desired impact is to project in rural settings of origin of the participants and the target in the Biosphere Reserve Geres-Xurés success stories shared by all during the exchange such as the dissemination of good practices through network, implementing methods with nature and to promote commitment to a sustainable rural environment. The long-term benefits are strengthening initiatives in the rural that are environmentally and promote social solidarity.
