The project is based on results of 5 previous national projects dealing with trainers’ training and employment in Greece. The project aims at implementing an intercultural approach in training of teachers. The project will design a European profile of trainers in intercultural education based on needs analysis and best practice survey in participating countries, develop distance education material with implementation guide, provide a web-based tool for training and communication, carry out pilot training in each country involved. The project will also produce overall and country specific integration guidelines of the outputs to the national trainers’ training systems of partner countries and propose competency assessment criteria for validation and accreditation in future.
