INTERVALUE is rooted to the Digital Research Centre (DRC) of Central Macedonia aiming to contribute in the exploitation of academic research and other projects which has set the basis for its European expansions. We have experienced that cooperation between R&D supply and demand is quite a dynamic process stimulated by the current trends in business and the academia. Any long term concentration in specific sectors could be surpassed by the reality as regards to the business priorities. INTERVALUE aims to establish knowledge, support and inter-regional cooperation mechanisms with a common aim: Integration of the R&D potential in the SEE area in the sense that research is not locked in the academia but is exploited for the shake of R&D sustainability and regional development. Achievements: We have designed a set of pilot knowledge development and support actions aiming to enhance the R&D exploitation culture and create cooperation mechanisms for integrating the R&D results into product ideas with the following tangible results: A multilingual set of methodological guides for R&D result exploitation, a knowledge base with evaluated R&D results, brokerage events in key technology areas and support of valorisation agreements The final output of INTERVALUE is the support of R&D valorisation agreements based on R&D results in the partner countries through the following sequence of activities: (1) A knowledge suite with methodological guides facilitating integration of a research result into a marketable product. (2) Evaluation for a pool of R&D results as regards their scientific, technical and market potential from a registry of international experts we will develop.
