The project is developed in cooperation between CRIJ Pays de la Loire, a French organization and Volunteers' Centre Zagreb, a Croatian organization . The project will involve a French volunteer who will participate in EVS activities which will take place mostly in Zagreb but also in various locations in Croatia during the period of seven months.The main activities, in which the volunteer will participate, will evolve around the organization, implementation and evaluation of voluntary workcamps in different locations in Croatia (in particular small villages in the countryside), organisation and implementation of some local voluntary actions and the promotional activities connected The aims of the project are: - contribution to the social and cultural development of local communities and young people through work with international volunteers, - raising the awareness of the value of voluntary work via international voluntary work-camps, local voluntary actions, and media presentations of our activities, - providing an intercultural experience for the volunteer and young people in Croatia. - stimulating the development of social solidarity and encouraging young people in Croatia to become more active in solving problems in their local communities
