INTEPA: Transfer and adaptation of new training itineraries for the qualification in the Heritage Interpretation field.

Purpose of the Project: The project, included in the “Develop Vocational Skills considering the labour market needs – New skills for New Jobs”, priority, proposed the transfer of the IN-NATURE project results, a pilot project with proven quality, adapting this transfer to the needs of other countries regarding the professional improvement and the creation of new employment opportunities within the sector of environmental and cultural tourism.The interpretation in natural and cultural heritage is an important support for its conservation. Technician in interpretation can arise visitors’ interest in heritage, and develop an attitude of appreciation and guardianship to those resources. The competition in the field of Heritage Interpretation will give target users the qualification to offer quality, attractive and effective tourism services, and manage the conservation of local heritage. The main goals and objectives have been: 1. To improve the quality of training adapting the manual developed in the pilot project. 2. To provide new content focusing on land management for its conservation. 3. To add innovations in the field of Heritage Interpretation. 4. To promote equal opportunities. 5. To adapt content to curriculum design, culture, needs and requirements of the targeted users.
