In this project 6 institutions join forces to find solutions for the targeted students. It’s a known fact that this group is hardest to guide to work. Although they very often have sufficient skills to be interesting for employers, handling their behaviour leads most of the time to a barrier that keeps them away from employment. Every partner in this project has its own expertise in this matter. Heliomare themselves will offer their expertise on the assessment of Autists to their partners. This means that of course Heliomare will learn during the process of transferring innovation, but that it won’t be a unidirectional project, au contrary, all partners will get out of this project with gained expertise and a strong partnership. All partners have been working together in previous projects in various combinations. The results of these collaborations lead to the confidence that this project will deliver products that can easily be mainstreamed to colleague institutes all over the Netherlands. The involvement of the WEC-raad (the Dutch Umbrella Organization) guarantees a direct link to all these institutes (>300). This projects also touches a problem that is high on the agenda of 5 Dutch Ministries (WaJong Problematiek)
