Considering the strategic potential of learning festivals in promoting adult learning, the IntALWinE project aimed towards the development of a consolidated European framework able to support all such learning campaigns. The goals of the planned framework were threefold, namely to maximise the value of learning campaigns as advocacy tools for adult learning; to improve the effectiveness of learning festivals in terms of both data collection and increased cooperation amongst local and national stakeholders and to provide a platform for learners’ voices and learner perspectives. Involving a variety of meetings, visits and events, the key output for the project comprised a collection of identified good-practice alongside a dedicated guide for learning festivals.
